How does auto-DND on AI-confirmed spam work?
When SuperLedger's AI confirms an inbound call is spam or a robocall, it can automatically enable inbound Do-Not-Disturb (DND) on that contact in your GoHighLevel CRM — so future calls and texts from that number are silenced before they ever reach your AI agent. Every spam call your AI answers costs per-minute voice fees, so auto-DND stops that spend automatically. You turn it on per rule, and every block is logged and reversible.
Before you start:
- A connected GoHighLevel integration.
- Admin or owner role to change rules.
Turn on auto-block
- Go to Alerts → Alert Rules.
- Create or edit a High Frequency Caller rule.
- Turn on Auto-block confirmed spam (DND in CRM). 📷 Screenshot coming soonthe Auto-block confirmed spam toggle in the rule dialog
- Save the rule.
The toggle's own description says it best: "Automatically enable inbound DND on callers the AI has classified as spam/robocalls — future calls and SMS are silenced before they reach the AI. High frequency alone never auto-blocks; it only alerts. Blocks are logged in Settings → Blocked Callers and can be undone."
What happens next
When a call is AI-confirmed spam (and auto-block is on), SuperLedger:
- Finds or creates the contact in your CRM and enables inbound DND on it.
- Adds a note to the contact and records the block in Settings → Blocked Callers.
- If the number hit multiple locations, blocks it across every location it called.
- Sends a notification (email/Slack) and resolves the related alert.
Future calls and SMS from that number are stopped at the CRM, so they never reach — or bill — your AI agent.
How it works (and what's protected)
A spam verdict is only trusted when the call shows no real engagement (2 or fewer customer turns, or under 60 seconds), so a genuine repeat customer is never auto-blocked just for calling often. High call frequency by itself only warns — it never blocks. Numbers on your allowlist (for example, legitimate Google Business / Duplex calls) are never blocked even if flagged. Every block can be undone from Blocked Callers.
Tip — put a dollar figure on it. Auto-DND saves real money (per-minute voice fees on every blocked spam call). Track blocked-call counts in Blocked Callers and multiply by your average spam-call length and per-minute rate to show clients the savings.
